POLARITY REIKI REFLEXOLOGY ABOUT LISA ARTICLES CONTACT

Reiki

Reiki is a profound healing technique where "ki", the healing energy of universe, is transferred into the client and allowed to be used for healing wherever needed. The results are most often a very deep relaxation and often pain or symptom relief. A series of sessions can provide additional healing. Treatments consist of gentle contacts of both hands on specific areas of the body. Clients are fully clothed. Duration can be ½ hour to 1 ½ hours for a full treatment.

Even if someone in need of healing is not present in person, Reiki can still be transmitted, often with dramatic effects. I have found these treatments very useful for relief of pain and discomfort, surgery preparation and recovery, uplifting of spirits, and general healing. The name and location of the client must be provided as well as permission from them to have the Reiki sent. The same amount of time is spent sending Reiki at a distance as is done in person.

Usui Reiki Ryoho Trainings

Reiki is very beneficial if learned individually. Then you can provide Reiki treatments for yourself on a daily basis. Lisa Megidesh offers Reiho (Reiki Ryoho) in Level I (Shoden), Level II (Okuden) and Personal Mastery, and Reiki Master trainings. It is the daily practice of Reiki Ryoho techniques, self treatments and treatments on others that builds the reiki energy which you can transmit. Each training gives you a greater understanding of various aspects of using Reiki Ryoho.

Reiki Ryoho or Reiho as Usui Sensei called it, includes many Japanese techniques and varies from the "American" style reiki most typically taught in the US in its understanding of advanced techniques, practice of energy building techniques, and use of mantra (Jumon) with symbols in advanced practice. Many of these techniques seem to have been removed from the American Reiki system, perhaps because Mrs. Takata brought it to this country near the time of WWII, when anything Japanese was unpopular.

The Reiho lineage of teachers is very close to Usui Sensei (Sensei means teacher), the founder of Reiki Ryoho. It is Usui Sensei, Taketomi Sensei, Koyama Sensei, Doi Sensei, and Lisa learned from Adonea who extensively researched the roots of the reiki healing system and has Reiki Master training in 9 styles of Reiki and training in Teate. Lisa has studied to the Master/Teacher level both American style Usui Shiki Ryoho and Usui Reiki Ryoho which she continues to teach. If anyone has trained in Usui Shiki Ryoho and would like to continue to study in Reiho, she provides individual and group update classes throughout the year.
